Due to circumstances beyond our control, namely that our webcam provider Justin.tv suddenly ceased trading this morning, our live Studio One webcam is currenly off-air.
We are currently looking into sourcing a replacement video stream carrier. Hopefully, we will have a replacement service in place by Friday at the latest.
In the meantime, don’t forget that you can still listen in via our online audio stream.
Following on from the huge success of the ‘Galway is Happy’ viral video, Claremorris will also show the world how happy it is, on Saturday next, March 8th.
‘Galway is Happy’ is a video inspired by the Pharell Williams song ‘Happy‘. It shows local business owners and residents dancing on the streets and around famous landmarks in Galway. The video has been very successful in showcasing Galway city and all that it has to offer. Not to be outdone, Claremorris Chamber of Commerce would like to show the world the our town is also a happy place. Cameras will be taking to the streets on Saturday to film the video.
The Chamber would like as many local businesses and residents involved in this event. Filming at each location will take approximately 10 minutes.
The video shoot will also be filmed at the following locations:
1.30pm – The Square
2.15pm – Clare Lake
The aim of the video is to show the great community spirit in Claremorris so, if you are up for a laugh, not afraid to dance on camera and would like to represent CCR in this video shoot, please let Allan at the station know.
