Blue Day September 27th

Blue SeptemberOn the 27th of September the staff of CCR946fm plan to celebrate Blue September – Men against Cancer by painting their faces blue. We are asking the male volunteers of CCR946 to join the staff and join in the day by coming to the station with their faces painted blue to support this very worthy cause. We will ask everyone who takes part to contribute €10 to the cause. It is hoped that a picture will be taken outside the station at a time to be decided later.

In other news, as you know we are conducting a survey with our volunteers about CCR94fm. If you have not yet done the survey we would please ask people to do so ASAP. This information is vital for the station to move forward in a productive way and to plan training events both for individuals and groups. The survey is available in the members-only section of this site.

Member experience review

surveyOver the coming months the radio station will be holding a member experience review. We would be grateful if each member would fill out the following questionnaire to enable the station to take stock of member morale, training and any ideas members may have to improve the station and the member’s experience of volunteering at the station.

Each member will be contacted individually by Gordon Campbell in order to follow up on the review and it is envisaged that a new support structure will be realised from the ideas and experiences garnered from the survey. We cannot stress how important this is and it is essential that everyone’s view is expressed in order to improve the member experience in our station.
