I-to-I Meeting this Saturday

The first I-to-I meeting of the year will take place on Saturday afternoon.

We’re starting in the studios with a one-hour I to I session at 2.00 pm. If you have any great ideas for programmes or anything else to do with the radio, come and talk to us about them. If, however, you need to discuss an issue, we there to talk it through with you – privately and confidentially, if you wish.

Then at 3.00 pm, there’s a one-hour Hands-on Help session. This will focus on Live Broadcasting. We will be sitting in on a live session to observe, ask questions and share knowledge. This is suitable for everyone. Experienced live broadcasters can help beginners and may also pick up points that they didn’t realise they didn’t know!

At 4.00 pm, our New Year social is a Cafe, coffee and cakes get-together in the Araby Cafe (pay your own way).

Looking forward to meeting up with you at one, two or all three events!

2018 AGM

The AGM of Claremorris Community Radio will take place on Monday next, November 12th, in The Dalton Inn Hotel, at 8pm.  Everyone is welcome, and all members are encouraged to attend.

Claremorris Community Radio is owned by the community and the board is answerable to that community. So, whether member or not please come along and hear our plans, our achievements and our every detail.

Support your local radio.

October team meeting

The October team meeting takes place in the Dalton Inn tonight at 7pm.  All  members (including those with concessions), associate members and, of course, the staff are all members of the Radio Team and all are welcome.

The meeting will be about the plans for the future of the radio, now that a large portion of the cost of the move to the new studios is to be covered by a grant from Leader.  The Agenda will consist of:

  • presentation of the plans for the relocation of our studios, together with the financial implications, led by Pat Keane
  • discussion of the plans by all present
  • any other business (time-sensitive matters only, please, to keep the meeting from running on for too long!).

We hope to see as many members of the Team as possible. This is all about the future of our radio and the new opportunities now open to it.
