Congratulations to Eddie Sweeney, who this week hosts his 250th episode of Money Matters, his excellent weekly show which combines financial information, advice and some excellent music.
Eddie was one of the station’s first broadcasters, being part of the original line-up who hosted Saturday’s flagship discussion show Let’s Talk About It after the CCR gained its full license.
In September 2008, Eddie launched Money Matters. Originally a half-hour show, it has since expanded to fill 60 minutes of informative and entertaining radio each week.
You can listen to this excellent show on Sunday, from 11am to 12 noon, and on Wednesday from 12 noon to 1 pm. It is also podcasted on mixcloud.com each week. Click here to see the full archive of Money Matters (scroll down to the bottom to find the most recent episode).
