Over the last two weeks, Claremorris Community Radio has visited NINE local schools to record some wonderful Christmas singing and music.

Boys’ NS and Convent Primary School: St Stephen’s Day at 16.00.

Kiltimagh Youth Drama selection


Next week, you can hear a special show featuring extracts from the Kiltimagh Youth Drama group’s end-of-year show.

Group leaders Joan King, Ann Patricia Forde and Lorcán Kitching have done a tremendous job educating this talented group. They perform a selection of the following pieces:

  • Polonius’ advice to Laertes
  • The Lunitania
  • World War One piece, featuring Marie’s Wedding by Percy French and The Letter by Dermot McManus
  • Many young men of twenty
  • Our revels now are ended
  • First Confession by Frank O’Connor

The list of performers are: Shauna Langan, Kyle Howard, John Forde McCarthy, Tara Ward and Mikey Kearney.

This show will be broadcast on Monday night next (June 25th) at 8pm. It will be repeated the following morning (Tuesday, June 26th) at 11am and again on Wednesday 27th at 8am.
