O’Mara Cup coverage

Garrymore, 2018 O’Mara Cup champions.

The 2019 O’Mara Cup starts starts this weekend and Claremorris Community Radio is going to provide extensive coverage of the event.

Starting this Sunday night, the live Sportstalk show will feature reports from the weekend’s games, along with interviews with the managers and some of the players involved. This weekend, Billy Fitzpatrick will be reporting in person on Sunday’s game between Garrymore and Davitts.

Sportstalk is broadcast live at 7pm on Sunday evenings. It is repeated on the following evening, also at 7pm.

Kiltimagh Sports Roadshow

As part of the build up to the big Mayo v Galway championship match on Sunday, the second Sports Roadshow of 2018 will take place on Friday evening (May 11th).

The event will take place in Ryans’ Bar, Kiltimagh, with 9.30pm set as the start time. The panel on the night will feature our usual hosts Austin Garvin and Billy Fitzpatrick, alongside journalist Willie McHugh, former Mayo senior footballers Eugene Lavin and John Finn, and more.

Music on the night will be performed by Ollie Burke and friends.

As always, the roadshow will be shown live on Facebook and recorded for broadcasting on the radio. The show will then be broadcast at 8pm on Saturday evening and repeated at 11am on Sunday morning.
