Over the past three months, 10 members of the local community took part in a CRAOL QQI/FETAC Level 3 Media Expression course here at the station.

The course, which was sponsored by the Community Foundation of Ireland, was free to anyone over the age of 55.  It began on September 30th and lasted for 10 weeks.

As part of the course, the students had to produce an hour of radio on issues relating to issues affecting the over-55s.  The class was divided in to two groups who each produced 30 minutes of radio.

These two shows The Next Chapter and Your Friend, The Radio will be broadcast back-to-back on Saturday next, December 19th, at 5pm.  They will be repeated on Tuesday, December 22nd, at 2pm.
