SCHOOL CHRISTMAS RECORDINGS

Over the last two weeks, Claremorris Community Radio has visited NINE local schools to record some wonderful Christmas singing and music.

You can hear their performances in three different broadcasts on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and St Stephen’s Day:

Barnacarroll NS: Christmas Eve at 11.00.

Ballyhaunis Community School, Gaelscoil Uileog De Búrca, Kiltimagh St Louis CS, Mayo Abbey NS, Meelickmore NS, Mount St Michael Secondary School: Christmas Day at 17.00.

Boys’ NS and Convent Primary School: St Stephen’s Day at 16.00.

Barnacarroll Foróige TY Group

The Barnacarroll Foróige TY Group will present you with an hour of their achievements over the past year. This special show will be broadcast on Claremorris Community Radio on Sat June 30th, at 5pm, and repeated on Tuesday July 3rd, at 11am.

Under the leadership of dedicated Foróige leaders Pauline, Amanda, Breda and Mary, this group of seven hardworking young people share their journey of taking on challenging projects including raising funds and supplies for the Simon Community and mapping the location of defibrillators in the area. Their dedication through research and intense work this group of TY students will benefit our Community and others for years to come. See the Map at Clare Lake and other centres in Claremorris.
