Claremorris Community Radio has a vacancy for a part-time Income, Marketing and Public Relations Officer. The main function of this post is to increase the overall development of Claremorris Community Radio by increasing total revenues acquired by the station.
Responsibilities to include duties regarding fundraising, promotion, social media development and assistance in the effective operation of the station. Please click here for a full description.

On Tuesday, Claremorris Community Radio chair Pat Keane travelled to the Tuam branch of the Irish Wheelchair Association to present certificates to a group of students who had completed our QQI Level 3 course in Media Expression last Summer.
In total eight students completed the course, which took place during the months of May and June 2018. Claremorris Community Radio’s John Nolan travelled to Tuam to teach the course whilst the students also visited the studios of the station on two of the days.
Congratulation to the students who successfully finished the course. They are: Kevin Clinton, Ciara D’Eath, Aisling Davis, Sam Fleming, Deirdre Grace, Anne Mahon, Peter McGarry and Josephine Regan.

Thank you to all who came to our social afternoon on 19th January. The I-to-I produced a plan for a social activity that is really appropriate for Team Members. You can read more about this in our ‘On Air‘ newsletter. This was followed by a very enjoyable and informative ‘Hands on Help’ during a live radio show and then we went along to the Lighthouse Cafe for coffee and cakes – and some of us had a meal, too. It was all a lot of fun and the company was fantastic, of course!
Next up is our January team meeting. This is for all staff, members and associates of Claremorris Community Radio and is a chance for everyone to get updates on the Radio’s progress, to give their own news and to join in the discussions. The meeting will take place on Thursday, 31st January, at 7pm in the radio studios.
