We were happy to have so many guests on our Friday Good Morning Show live from SuperValu. Among the many we spoke to, we’d like thank John Whittle of the Lion’s Club and Damien Hall the manager of SuperValu and sponsors of the Friday Good Morning Show for letting us know about the many services and groups they work with and support in the community. Supervalu are also supporting the walk this evening, providing food, refreshments and music.

The Midsummer Walk is a fun event for all the family in aid of Ger Brady who has motor neurons disease. The proceeds raised go towards helping Ger to adapt his living accommodation and to meet his future needs.

So today Friday 23rd June 6pm-9.30pm you are invited to attend ‘A Midsummer Night’s Walk’

Venue: Clare Lake/McMahon Park

In association with Claremorris & District Lions Club, supported by SuperValu Claremorris in aid of #togetherforger

It sounds like it will be a nice way to kick off the weekend for a worthy cause and what we hope will be an enjoyable evening.

Also happening this weekend:

Padraig McHugh, from Bord na nOg, Pat and Rachel Comer from Claremorris Drama Group came to our studios to tell us about their latest show in aid of the Society and Bord na nOg. Taking place this Saturday at 8pm in the Town Hall Theatre, Claremorris.

Don’t Tell The Wife is a comedy by Sam Cree and it’s great to see the Claremorris Drama Society back on the road again after the difficulties faced by theatre groups in the recent years.
