Two CCR shows won awards at the Craol (Community Radio Ireland) Achievement Awards in Galway last night!

Marty Flannery took a Silver in the ‘Creativity and Effectiveness’ category for ‘Showband Legends’, which kept going throughout Covid and is now up to over 170 episodes. Congratulations Marty – this is so well deserved. The real Showband Legend is you.

And the Good Morning Show CCR won the overall Standout Award in the ‘Social Benefit – Talk’ category, after also winning a Gold in the same category.

Receiving a certificate are newsreaders and presenters Eileen Byrne, Angela Cameron, Sandra Donnellan, John Fallon, Brian Gibbons, Joe Heneghan, Pat Keane, Dolores Keaveney, Martin McFadden, Liam McNamara and Bridie Sheeran.
