A big thank you to the 1st class students of Muire Gan Smál Convent primary school for joining us here this morning on Claremorris Community Radio, and thank you to principal Theresa Nally.
On the Good Morning Show 24th January, Sandra Donnellen , radio presenter was delighted to be joined in CCR studios by a group of children all 1st class ageing from 6 and a half to 8.
The children were accompanied by their teachers Ms Tuohy and Ms Ward.
They discussed their recent weather project and explained about the significance of rain, clouds, snow and sunshine. They recited a poem about weather in both English and Irish, they also sang a song called ‘Twinkle Twinkle Weather Today’. They played requests for friends and family and they all sang ‘Let It Go’ from the Disney movie Frozen.
