Padraic Joyce, Mayo Head of the Irish Farmers’ Association, Talks to Mark Godfrey

Increasing numbers of beef farmers are selling their livestock and getting out of business, and this will be tough for the economy of towns like Claremorris.

That’s according to Padraic Joyce, the Mayo head of the Irish Farmers Association. This autumn he’s running for the vice presidency of the organisation.

Mark Godfrey asked him for his solutions to the economic as well as environmental challenges Irish farmers face.
