Heard about the upcoming Claremorris Folk Festival and wondering which acts to see?

With just a few days to go until the inaugural Claremorris Folk Festival, Live@2 presenter Sandra Donnellan invited Festival Coordinator Brendan Hurley in to look at what’s in store, and play a few tunes from some of the fantastic folk acts lined up for this weekend.

Hear tracks by Mick Flannery, Tracy Gallagher, Emma Langford, Seamus Ruttledge, and Ultan Conlon and the Nightowls.

As well as two whole days of great music, the festival will also feature a farmer and craft market in Gilligan’s Lane, plus puppetry and facepainting from Carrot Art Worker.

Claremorris Community Radio will be broadcasting live from the festival on Saturday from 2-5 pm, with coverage of the Acoustic Stage in Killeen’s/Sam’s Bar.
