This week’s episode of The Way It Is is all about afforestation. The show begins with a discussion about planting and the grants available before moving on to managing forests for the first 5 years, thinning, management of mature plantation, procurement, certification and the prospects for Irish Forestry.

Host Anthony McNicholas’s special guests are Marina Conway, Western Forestry Co-op, and Daryl Fahy, ECC Timber Products.
