It’s a big week here in CCR, with three events of note.

On Wednesday, we will be out and about for the first of two outside broadcasts. To celebrate Men’s Health Awareness Day, Eamonn Kelly will host a live two hour show from The Square in Claremorris. Eamonn will be on-air from 12 noon until 2 p.m. Men’s Health Awareness Day is being organised by Claremorris Family Resource Centre and the Claremorris Men’s Shed.

At 12 noon on Saturday, Gordon Campbell will reach a milestone in his broadcasting career as the 300th Weekend Gold show hits the airways. To mark the occassion, Gordon will host a two hour love songs special. Be sure and tune in so you too can feel the love!

24 hours later, our second OB of the week takes place in Barnacarroll Community Centre. This broadcast will celebrate the community centre’s Family Open Day. The day will feature music, stalls, games, bouncy castles and a barbecue and all proceeds will go to Western Alzheimers. Once again, Eamonn Kelly will be the host, live from 2 ’til 5 p.m.
