Its host, Seána Redmond, has a great love for the Irish culture and will celebrate this each week with Irish music, history, the arts and heritage. Seána aims to spread the love for her country with others and highlight just how great this little island of ours is.
In programme 1: On this weeks show, Seána and her guest Fearghal Breathnach will be discuss Theobald Wolfetone, the founding of the United Irishmen and the 1798 Rebellion in Wexford. Plenty of great Wexford Ballads of ’98 will be played! This week Seána visited the Píobairí Uilleann where she spoke to Gay McKeown about the organisation and he also played a lovely slow air on the pipes.
