CCR’s new year starts with a new show for our schedule. Bridie’s Irish Country will see the return to our airwaves of Bridie Sheeran.
The show will feature a selection of Bridie’s favourite Irish Country tunes and will be broadcast on Sundays at 1pm. It will then be repeated on Tuesdays at 7pm.
One of the station’s longest-running shows, Trad Irish with Fr Peter Gannon, is moving to a new slot. As of this week, Fr Peter’s choice of the finest in traditional Irish music will be broadcast live at 11 a.m. on Wednesdays.
The show will continue to be repeated on Saturday evenings at 7 p.m.
At 12 noon on Fridays, where the show used to be broadcast, you can now hear Heart of Mayo presented by John O’Malley.
