Volunteers are at the heart of all of Claremorris Community Radio’s activities and new volunteers are always welcome at the station.
In honour of National Volunteering Week, the station is holding an open breakfast morning on Friday, May 17th. All are welcome especially those interested in getting involved with the station.
So come on in for a cuppa, a croissant and see how Claremorris Community Radio puts its shows together!
Our open breakfast morning: Friday, May 17th, from 8.30 – 11am.
Claremorris Community Radio plans to hold a series of workshops introducing interested volunteers to drama for radio. The night-time course will start during May and last for at most six weeks.
The workshops will be delivered by John Corless, an acclaimed local playwright and founder of the Claremorris Fringe Festival.
The eventual goal of the course will be the production of a series of 20-minute plays for September’s Sound and Vision submissions.
